VARITDA – twenty-first | Melodic Corner

Love doesn’t need to be loud, it just needs to be real. 🌕🥂
The title “twenty-first” holds deep personal significance, as it marks the anniversary date of VARITDA and her husband. Wanting to capture the essence of their love,
VARITDA took part in co-writing the music alongside Jamie Song (A-Team Korea), making the song even more meaningful to her.

“This jazz-pop love song drifts in a lo-fi dream, with soft, moody chords and shifting light that mirror love’s quiet constancy. The lyrics tell a story of devotion, serendipity, and love that speaks even in silence—a song for those who know that love doesn’t always shout, but it’s always there, shining just for you.”

Lyric
I never heard
The moon
Say a word
But in the shine
Nothing tries to hide

Reasons that I smile
Every time
I looked into your eyes
The reason why I’d take
Your name

When you look at the sky
In the moonshine
There you could find
The simple truth
Of loving you

Think I won’t even try
When the moon shines
Suddenly I
Can’t hide what’s true
Away from you

Guessin’ that I’m the luckiest girl
The one that gets to be by your side
What in the world
Did I do
[To] be loved by you?

Guessin’ that its the shimmering moon
When I decide to say yes to you
I knew it was true
Every twenty first

Because honestly oh I never knew
That love is true
Till I found you
My Honeymoon

When you look at the sky
In the moonshine
There you could find
The simple truth
of loving you

Think I won’t even try
When the moon shines
Suddenly I
Can’t hide what’s true
Away from you

When you look at the sky
In the moonshine
There you could find
The simple truth
Of loving you

Think I won’t even try
When the moon shines
Suddenly I
Can’t hide what’s true
Away from you
