experiment – ARTY

“experiment” is a synth-pop track that captures the sweet, chaotic, and utterly relatable moment of realizing you’re missing someone so deeply. The song follows a narrator who conducts a little “experiment” on a packed, hectic day to see if a mountain of tasks can distract them. Yet, in the middle of the chaos, they still find themselves making time to think of that person, only to realize that their feelings are undeniably real.

*Lyrics*
I didn’t trust myself
It’s kinda new
If you don’t trust me too
Oh yeah, that’s cool

It happened somehow
Don’t really know
Oh, how it got this far
Not really sure

Never felt this way with you before
A little weird sometimes, girl, I just can’t ignore

I did an experiment
On this pretty busy day
To see if it was all a mistake
Cus I thought that I missed you yesterday,
Oh shit, I miss you the same

I thought that things would’ve changed
With a ton of things to do
And no time for me to think
But girl, I still made a little time just for you
Oh shit, I really miss you

I know, I know, I know, I know
How crazy it sounds to you
That I wanna know, I wanna know
About everything you do
Like All day, all night,
Nah, I’m not fine, not fine

Never felt this way with you before
A little weird sometimes, girl, I just can’t ignore

I did an experiment
On this pretty busy day
To see if it was all a mistake
Cus I thought that I missed you yesterday,
Oh shit, I miss you the same

I thought that things would’ve changed
With a ton of things to do
And no time for me to think
But girl, I still made a little time just for you
Oh shit, I really miss you

Wanna know when I miss you, do you miss me?
I’m sorry, can’t just keep it lowkey
If you do, if you feel the same,
This experiment could get insane

I think I’m in love with you
